Sigety Assists: The Vipers dominated their opening game defeating a tenacious Loudoun 4 squad by a margin of 7-1. Although the Vipers had the better of play throughout the first half, it was still anyone's game until Brad Johnson's corner kick deflected off a defender to make it 2-1. In a balanced contest, the team scored two second half goals.
